Our year 5 children have been out & about in the village today, for their Geography lesson.  They have been looking at the pollution in our river, the Kennett.  They didn't see much plant growth near the river's edge, as the local farmers have pastoral farms, not arable ones.  They found quite a bit of litter, even though there were numerous bins located around the sides of the river.  And, Mrs Marsh managed to save a clipboard that had fallen overboard on the bridge!!
