Our new sensory movement tiles have just arrived and both staff and children have enjoyed exploring their therapeutic effects this morning.  When walked on, pressed against or rotated, the liquid moves around in swirling patterns and then moves again when pressure is removed or changes direction.

They will be used both as part of sensory circuits and during sensory breaks as a calming tool for those children who need extra support to regulate their emotions.
