Our Reception class had a very special visitor this week. A local paramedic, Mr Gladstone brought his ambulance to school.

They are learning about people who help us, in their topic and his visit was the highlight of the week.  He showed them the ambulance, and had the sirens and lights on too.  He talked to the children about dialling 999, and explained about some of the equipment he uses. He even monitored the heartbeat of one of the children.  

The rest of the school also had a look at the ambulance too, during breaktime.  Many thanks Mr Gladstone, we really do appreciate your time.
