We plan our teaching to embed the safe use of the internet whilst still offering a wide range of opportunities for learning.  We encourage discussion about the use of the internet in an age appropriate manner using examples from both school and home life.

ICT including the use of internet, email and mobile technologies has become an important part of learning in our school and it is important that we follow strict guidelines and procedures to keep children safe.  We expect all children to play a part in this process by agreeing to follow a set of rules when they are using ICT.

We make use of fun, thought provoking materials provided by the CEOP’s ThinkUKnow educational programme, which have been specifically designed for your child’s age group.  We aim to re-enforce safety skills adapting as technology changes, and always keep within the children’s understanding.
