Girls Football
On Monday, 10 girls from years 5 and 6 represented our school at a football tournament in Mildenhall. They played brilliantly in their pool games - winning every game comfortably and not conceding any goals!
In the quarter-finals, they faced Elveden and won 6-1. In the semi-finals, they faced St Christophers and won 3-1.
In the final they played Great Heath and won 3-0, making them back-to-back champions!
Mrs Crook and I were delighted with the win - but we were more impressed with how the girls supported each other and showed such great skill and team spirit. Lots of other schools came over to say how impressed they were with our team. One teacher said he'd asked his team to watch ours as the standard to aspire to!
The girls have qualified to represent Forest Heath at the county finals in late November. I'm sure you will join us in wishing them the best of luck!
